Thermal Overload Relay Unit Type M1-BR is a three pole Bimetallic unit housed in a Bakelite enclosure. It is individually calibrated & tested on automatic machines to ensure foolproof protection to the motor from overload, Single Phasing & resulting burnouts. The relay is ambient temperature compensated for operation between -5degC to 40degC. The reset mechanism can be adjusted to hand or Auto mode; in manual mode, the red button needs to be pressed to reset the relay after an overload has occurred, after allowing sufficient cooling time. In Auto mode, the relay will reset on its own after cooling down. Available in a wide range of current ranges with easily adjustable, front accesable current setting knob, The tripping mechanism can be tested a trip test mechanism without electrically connecting the relay.
